  • well, it's been a long time ^^;

    just out of curiosity--does -cci exist in Italian, or have I extrapolated it from -ccio etc.?

    June 12, 2009

  • -cci in a verb? Of course it exists, e.g. in facci ("do us") and other verb with the suffix "ci" (us), cacci ("you hunt") and verbs whose infinitive ends in -cciare. Including tacci, from verb tacciare, meaning "to accuse" (s.o. of being something bad); tacci = you accuse). "Taci" meaning "shut up" is tacere.
